Where Would Be Your Ideal Holiday Destination?

Upon being asked the question of where they would like to go on holiday many would say somewhere in a foreign country, and many of those would say somewhere hot, yet very few would say that they would like to go a few miles away or even leave the country and go somewhere cold, perhaps somewhere interesting. These kinds of people are becoming fewer and fewer.
I personally would have to say I am one of those few, when I go on a holiday I want to learn something, find out something or even do something new. I can relax, but just not very well as I can’t keep it up, I find it boring doing that, I go on a holiday to have fun, not just to lie around in the sun.
With these points in mind I have put together a list of holiday destinations I would be happy to visit, the list is as follows.
The first destination on my list is so obvious, you’ve probably already guessed it, I’m talking of course about Italy, a beautiful holiday destination with lots to offer. If you were to visit Italy then you would be literally indulged with choices of what you could do. If you wanted to visit a place of worship then you could go to one of Italy’s well known cathedrals.
Or for a real treat you could go and see the Pope, can you honestly say you could think of somewhere else where you could do that?. If that doesn’t sound that interesting then you could always take a Venetian gondola ride through the city of Venice, a time to be wowed by its beauty or even just to relax.
For more of Italy’s culture why not visit one of the many art galleries that the country has to offer, although if you really want to see something great, something that you can actually get up close to then why not give the leaning tower of Pisa a try, it’s true what they say you know, it really does lean.
The list goes on, and it’s not all views, Italy boasts lots of places to relax, lots of places to have fun including some great theme parks. I simply can’t give it the justice it deserves using words, so why not book a holiday to Italy now and you can do and see these things as well as many more of them, you won’t know how good it is until you’ve tried it.
The second destination on my list may strike you as a bit odd taking in mind what I started this article saying, but I hope to show you that it isn’t and that it really is worth checking out, I am talking of Greece, perhaps just as beautiful as Italy with it’s own unique culture. There is a quite frankly huge choice of things to do, with such attractions as windsurfing, photography, scuba diving, rock climbing, swimming and even festivals.
But if you want a holiday in Greece I heavily suggest you look into the islands around Greece as some of them are really nice, but once again don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself.
The last destination on my list some would not really consider as a holiday destination, but if you are one of those people then you may just be missing out, the country I’m talking about is Australia, believe it or not Australia has an astonishing amount of things to do.
If you wanted something interesting to see then you could go a bit extreme with how you do it and get a hot air balloon ride, or if you want something refreshing you could go scuba diving or perhaps you could go sight seeing, Australia is huge and fun for all.
After reviewing these places I have made my choice, the question is, have you made yours?.

What Participants Expect From a Destination Event

You probably have a pretty good picture of what you expect your Florida destination event to be (or at least you will when your event and destination planner is through with you!). But do you know what your participants are expecting?

Looking at event and destination planning from the perspective of the participant is advantageous in planning a successful, well-attended, and memorable Florida destination event. Florida destination and event planners are keen to the expectations of event participants—they should be, it’s their job!

Even though you are not likely to have the in-depth insight into participant expectations that a Florida destination event planner does, it will help you as you work with your partnering destination planner if you know what to plan on behalf of your participants.

Attendees Come Looking For Fun & Learning

Your destination event attendees will come looking for all that Florida is famous for—interest, relaxation, improvement, and entertainment in a great atmosphere.

* A learning experience:

Destination event participants recognize that your Florida event is an opportunity, a learning opportunity. They look forward to coming to your event and learning the skills and techniques that are most valued by your organization.

* Interest:

Participants come to Florida destination events in search of something interesting; yes they want to know what you want them to know, but they also want to learn something of value and interest to them and their future.

* Networking:

As a leader in your organization or industry, you know the value of contacts; destination events are prime opportunities for networking, and participants know it—and they expect to make plenty of contacts that will further their career in your company as well as make their professional life easier!

* Great venues and accommodations:

You wouldn’t attend an event in a dive, and you wouldn’t spend a night in one; neither will your event participants. The right locations and experiences are just as important as what goes on inside them.

* Assistance and support:

Navigating the accommodations, options, events, and itineraries of a Florida destination event can be very complicated. Your participants need people they can turn to for help, and they’ll look to you to provide it.

* Fun and Relaxation:

A time for work and a time for play; destination event participants will come looking for both (another reason Florida is your ideal event destination).

* A unique experience:

Destination event participants don’t want to attend the same show over and over; they want something fresh and new to pique their interest and keep them coming back.

The demands of destination event participants can be pretty high. Meeting those demands requires a lot of time and effort; a company that tries to go it alone often finds themselves floundering. Florida destination event planners have the knowledge and resources to not only know what participants demand of their hosts, but also to manage the large and small details that make or break an event’s success. Destination event professionals know how to pull off unique, stimulating, educational events in a way that leaves participants feeling they have the upper hand.

Not every location is well-suited to meeting the demands of destination event participants. With easy access to a variety of unique venues, entertainment options, and excellent infrastructure to handle transport and accommodations, Florida ranks among the most popular event destination with organizations, and more importantly, with participants.

Paris- a Popular Tourist Destination

Paris is one of the most popular destinations in the world, which makes it quite easy to access. It is a major hub for many airlines, and a great starting point or stopover during a European vacation. Your time in Paris is precious, so you donâ??t want to waste a minute. A little advance planning is a good thing to avoid some of the typical time wasters.

When to visit:

Schedule your trip during April if possible to witness the magic of springtime in Paris. Visit Paris at Christmas for fabulous holiday shopping along les Champs Elysées. You should also try to avoid late September and the first 2 weeks in October, when the annual auto show attracts thousands of enthusiasts. During August & July hotels are likely to be full of student invasion so try to avoid that season.

Where to stay:

Keep in mind that Paris is the most visited city in the world, and you want to be sure you have a bed. So, donâ??t go without a reservation. The first thing to do is to determine which attractions you want to see most and once you do that, search for lodging close by it. Then you decide how much to spend and whether your room should be luxurious or basic. Three star hotels are usually reasonably-priced and comfortable enough for most travelers.. Arc de Triomphe- The 164-foot Arc de Triomphe commissioned by Emperor Napoléon , does exactly what it was made to do: evoke sheer military power and triumph. From its summit, you can view the â??spine of Parisâ?? from La Defenseâ??s Grand Arch -and all the way to the Louvre with the entire Champs Elysees at your feet.

Musee dâ??Orsay-

This museum may not be the massive size of Louvre, but its Impressionist collection is among the best in the world. Major works by Van Gogh, Delacroix, Manet, and others await you, too. The museum is housed in a former rail station, and has the atmosphere and personality to match.

Notre Dame Cathredal:- No first trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the most singular and beautiful cathedrals of Europe, Notre Dame Cathedral’s . One of a string of famous Gothic cathedrals in northern France, built in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries .Witness firsthand the spot that was once the heartbeat of medieval Paris, and that took over 100 years of hard labor to complete.
