A Honeymoon Vacation Special To Sihanoukville Cambodia

A Honeymoon Vacation Special requires very careful planning, and Cambodia may have been a place you haven’t considered. The Vietnam War and the Khmer Rouge are long gone and Cambodia is emerging as a holiday destination and it could be a very special place to spend a honeymoon.
Cambodia of course is the well known home of Angkor Wat with its magnificent temples, and the classical city of Phnom Penh but what many people don’t realise is that it has some fantastic beaches on the south coast and a great hotel in Sihanoukville called The Sokha Beach Hotel, and this is worth investigating as a great place to finish any Honeymoon vacation Special in Cambodia.
The Sokha Beach Hotel sits in 15 acres of beachfront garden on over a mile of the best white sand beach in Sihanoukville, and is the best hotel in Sihanoukville. It was voted amongst the best new hotels in the world in 2005.
There are 166 rooms all of which are good sized with wooden floors and nice furnishings, with large comfortable beds and the usual amenities including tea and coffee service. The bathrooms are large with separate showers and lots of fluffy towels. There are several categories of room from De Luxe garden view and De Luxe Seaview, Club Suite, Junior Suite, Executive Suite, Apsara Suite, and the Royal Sokha Suite.
The swimming pool is huge, and there are plenty of sunbeds, both there and on the beach, with attentive staff to look after you. You’ll not want to sit by the pool with such a beautiful beach for your honeymoon vacation special!!
In fact the beach is swept all day long to keep it in pristine condition, in fact the sand is finer and whiter than Phuket to give you an idea of the quality. The same is true of the grounds and the restaurants everything is immaculate.
You will enjoy the breakfasts in the air conditioned restaurant with nice touches like an omelette chef, and a noodle chef, and by the way if you leave the airconditioning on in your room when you go out, it is still on when you return which is wonderful.
There is a good seafood buffet, and the Lemongrass restaurant on the beach is very good with the most wonderful setting and great views.
The Spa is beautiful and it is well worth while taking one of their packages, because by Western standards the price is very reasonable. It has a huge Jacuzzi and modern steam room which all guests can use free.
The costs within the hotel for food and drink are a little on the expensive side, so you need to venture out if only to sample something closer to the real Cambodia. Take a walk around the rocks to the next beach and here you will find hustle and bustle but you can eat and drink all night for very little. You will have to put up with beggars and children but bar staff will take care of them.
All in all you won’t do better in Cambodia on your honeymoon vacation special than tour Angkor Wat and then chill out at The Sokha Beach Hotel in Sihanoukville.

Honeymoon Vacation In An All Suite Hotel In Barbados

Looking to go to Barbados for your honeymoon vacation then check out the Cobblers Cove Hotel now.
A honeymoon vacation in Barbados sounds like an attractive option especially to eascape the chill of Northern Europe, and you are almost spoilt for choice. One of the oldest established famous hotels which has a kind of old fashioned class to it is the Cobblers Cove Hotel. It is an all suite hotel with very spacious accommodation, and the main building has a lovely old colonial style to it, added to it by its colour being pink.
The rooms have rattan furniture, lovely terracotta and attractive cooling cottons, with all the amenities you might expect from a hotel that is a member of the distinguished Relai and Chateaux Group. They each have either large balcony or terrace, with a dressing area, and a large bathroom adorned with every quality English toiletry you could wish for. There are 40 elegant suites in eleven Spanish style buildings on two floors, with the deluxe suites being closer to the beach.
To keep the hotel up to date a number of suites are completely redecorated each year. If you really feel like pushing the boat out for your honeymoon vacation, then there are two enormous penthouse suites on the rooftop of the original house, each with its own pool and incredible views of the beach and the garden, not to mention a four poster bed, very honeymoon vacation romantic too.
The Cobblers Cove Hotel is situated on St Peter’s Beach on the west coast of Barbados, and is around 30 minutes from Bridgetown. There are a number of complimentary sports including water skiing and tennis. The restaurant is the Terrace restaurant with an open air dining room overlooking the water, and the very refined fare is well received by the guests, in fact raved about might be a more accurate description. One of the nice English charms at the Cobblers Cove Hotel is the complimentary afternoon tea.
Although the Cobblers Cove Hotel is only graded four star, don’t let that sway your decision because the whole atmosphere is that of an elegant secluded five star, with a very relaxed and classy feel to it. There is something very gracious about the ambience, part of which comes from the history of the main building, and another from the traditional English style courtesy with which you are made welcome.
Another reason for the way that guests seem to love Cobblers Cove so much, and return year after year is perhaps the fact that many of them are English, and there is more than a hint of the traditional and almost forgotten tradition of the English House Party.
If you are thinking of Cobblers Cove for a honeymoon vacation, there is no doubt you would feel very relaxed here, and then when you wanted to spread your wings a little there are plenty of restaurants nearby, and action in the west coast bars and discos. You may find the other guests somewhat middle aged, but that in fact all adds to the charm of the place, and you will quickly realise your privacy will not be intruded upon.
